2015 PEAKS JAZZ FESTIVAL

One of the West's premier jazz festivals, the 2015 Peaks Jazz Festival promises another weekend of stunning performances. This year's event will feature GRAMMY-winning trumpeter, Brian Lynch; Big Bad Voodoo Daddy saxophonist, Karl Hunter; original member of the Blues Brothers, legendary multi-instrumentalist Tom "Bones" Malone; sax guru, Dave Pietro; legendary drummer of The Yellowjackets, Will Kennedy; Tower of Power guitarist, Jerry Cortez; composer, Victor Lopez; and the DownBeat Award-winning sounds of Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band! Each day will feature FREE clinics by the festival guest artists and electrifying night concerts with the guest artists and the Soundhouse's award-winning bands.

 

All festival events will be held at Utah Valley University, 800 W. University Parkway, Orem, Utah.

Tickets are required for both evening performances during the festival.  General Admission Tickets are $10 each and VIP Tickets (which include reserved seating, a signed concert poster, and backstage access) are $30 each.  Tickets are available from any of the students in the program, by phone at 801-763-0200 and in person at Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse (555 E Main St, Suite A in American Fork) starting on February 1, 2015.

Throughout the weekend, our celebrity clinicians and other experts will be presenting FREE educational clinics on a wide range of topics for jazz students of all ages. No tickets or reservations are needed.
