Peaks Jazz Festival 2012

On February 24-25, 2012, the Peaks Jazz Festival returns to the Westlake Auditorium in Saratoga Springs. Utah's most exciting jazz event features performances of world-class jazz musicians alongside the amazing talent of the CCM bands. The event also features free clinics throughout the weekend with celebrity artists and performances by over 60 fantastic student ensembles from across the state.
This year's guest artists include saxophonist, composer, and educator, Ed Calle (Miami Sound Machine); steel drum virtuoso, Andy Narell (Caribbean Jazz Project); drummer and band leader, Tommy Igoe (Birdland Big Band); trumpet recording artist, Sean Jones (Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra); drummer, bandleader, and president of D'Addario Corporation, Rick Drumm (Fatty Necrosis); saxophone virtuoso and president of JodyJazz Mouthpieces, Jody Espina; John LaPorta Jazz Educator of the Year Award Winning bassist, Bob Sinicrope; trumpeter, author, and composer, Scott Wilson; and award-winning composer and saxophonist, Greg Yasinitsky!
